Dragonball Inferno is a revolutionary Text-Based DBZ RPG. It is the brainchild of one of the Co-creators of Ultimate Battle. In DBI you will see many new concepts never before seen on any other text-based DBZ RPG.

On the show, you notice that every Saiyan can only be so powerful, before they NEED to level up or transforminto a SSJ, Thus it can be assumed that their Saiyan form can only contain so much power, it has limits. DBI introduces the concept of a max Power Level for each form. Each Race will have a different max, as well as what their next form does for them. This system allows a more advanced player to battle a noob, each of them in basic form, and the fight be balanced. How will this affect sparring and battles? When you go to spar, you will ask your partner what level they are comfortable training at, and when you agree on a certain level/transformation, you will get points in accord with the agreed level of training.

As for Battles, you may ask your opponent what level they would like to battle at, if you are of good resolution, you must adhere to the preset guidelines you have agreed upon or you will face consequences, if you are neutral, there will be a balance of pros and cons you must consider before you take action. If you are evil, there will be mostly pros for breaking contract, but, Karma is a Bitch. As you read further into the site, you will begin to understand this better.

In addition to the level concept, you will begin to see a cosmic reward & consequence system for not only killing players, but also for breaking spar & battle contracts. Karma, it would seem, has become tangible.

We know the “contract” system may seem kind of lame at first, but we swear, it isn’t as ridiculous as it sounds. But please, don’t take my word for it, experience it for yourself.

In DB Inferno, we introduce an “Angel” & "Makaioshin" race. Although done before in other RPG’s and not traditionally an available race, ours will complement the traditional Demon race and will have its own set of attributes. After all, what good is a Demon race without a counter-part?

We strive to create an intriguing universe composed of all of the elements from Dragonball, Dragonball Z, & Dragonball GT, as well as our own fun twist in it all. We are always open to new ideas and appreciate all feedback, including Constructive criticism, in an effort to enhance your experience.

We do have a variety of Half-Races. Because of the complexity of the issue, we have created a hierarchy of the races that shows exactly which racial attributes your mixed-Canon will inherit. We are sure you will be satisfied.

We are introducing an item building element to DB Inferno. You will have the opportunity to pay just for the supplies needed to build it and you can build it yourself with just part of your day gone.

We encourage individuality here at DB Inferno. Although the traditional Characters are available to play, as your own; we very much welcome Custom Characters. If there is something you would like to utilize for your character, but can not find it, ask! If you have a good idea and we decide to use it, we just may pro-bono you the very first one, be it an item, attack, or w/e.

Although this is strictly a DBZ RPG, we don’t mind if you wanted to create a Custom Canon named Naruto who is a human (or Saiyan or Human/Demon) and just happened to have a picture of Naruto on your player profile page. Get where we are going with this? The picture/name doesn't matter where it’s from, because you will still play as a DBZ character where it counts.

DB Inferno doesn’t want to mesh different anime together. However, we are considering adding certain foreign aspects to the game. These may include various jutsus, weapons, attacks, etc. Nothing has been meshed yet, and we will only add foreign aspects if we 265% believe that it will increase overall game play for all players. These kinds of decisions are not taken lightly, so feel warm and fuzzy knowing that DBZ integrity is still being upheld.

Because the owner of this DBZ RPG was one of the co-creators of Ultimate Battle, you will find many similar concepts between DB Inferno and UB. If you are familiar with the UB system, this should come as a breeze. Some of the content may be virtually identical, but what are you going to do, especially since UB was so well constructed. Plus, it’s not like their aren’t thousands of DBZ RPG’s out there on the web. There is bound to be some level of overlapping. We try to keep everything on here as original as possible for a unique game play you will not find anywhere else, and THAT is our promise to you!
